Japanese Astronauts Set for Lunar Journey

日本人宇宙飛行士 に ほん じん うちゅうひ こう しが月つきに行いく計画けいかくが決きまりました。これは、「アルテミス計画」という名前なまえのもと、アメリカと日本にほんが協力きょうりょくして進すすめる宇宙の探査活動たん さ かつどうです。

It has been officially decided that Japanese astronauts will travel to the moon. This is part of the “Artemis Program,” a space exploration initiative led by the United States and Japan.

2028年ごろ、日本人宇宙飛行士が初はじめて月に着陸ちゃくりくします。そして2031年には、日本が開発かいはつを手伝てつ だう探査車たんさしゃを使つかって、月を調しらべる予定よていです。この探査車では、月で長ながく生活せいかつするための特別とくべつな技術ぎじゅつが使われます。

Around 2028, a Japanese astronaut is expected to land on the moon for the first time. Then, in 2031, they plan to explore the moon using a rover developed with Japan’s help. This rover will be equipped with special technology for extended stays on the moon.

この計画は、月だけでなく、将来的しょうらいてきには火星 か せいへの旅たびも考かんがえています。2025年には宇宙飛行士が月の周まわりを飛とぶ試験 し けんをし、2026年には宇宙飛行士が月に降おります。

The program aims not only for lunar exploration but also for a future journey to Mars. In 2025, astronauts will conduct a test flight around the moon, and by 2026, they are scheduled to land on the lunar surface.

月と火星の探査のため、新しい宇宙ステーションも作つくられる予定よていです。このプロジェクトでは、日本人宇宙飛行士も活動かつどうに参加さんかします。この歴史的れき し てきな計画は、日本の宇宙探査にとって大おおきな一歩 いっ ぽとなります。

A new space station will also be constructed to facilitate exploration of the moon and Mars. Japanese astronauts will participate in this project as well.This historic initiative marks a significant milestone in Japan’s space exploration efforts.
